Homac has been a wonderful opportunity for me to improve in maths and grow in confidence in other subjects such as English and speech & language. It has also helped me to improve in mental maths and arithmetic and I can now do it in a very quick amount of time. After going to Homac I have gotten very good grades in school and I am in top set in maths. In tests I have been able to finish earlier than the time limit because I can use the methods that I use in Homac and still be able to check my work more than once to make sure everything is correct. Some of my favourite things that I learnt in Homac were decimal point times tables which I started learning in level 6 I also enjoyed doing was percentage which I learnt in level 7. I have also loved doing skill practice because it is a very entertaining and educational activity which helps you add lots of numbers together in a extremely short amount of time.– Haretha Kanishkumar
My cousin initially introduced me to Homac as her son is excelling in school; he is 8 and level 2 has him doing times tables quickly and efficiently. He is a pupil of another branch. I was happy to find out I had a local contact and enrolled my children. I have 3 kids with different learning abilities. The youngest is 4 and will join her siblings in January 2018 when she is 5. My son started late at 8 years old with special educational needs and my daughter who is 7 and a quick learner. The tutors have been able to accommodate the skills of both children successfully and shows this system works for all children at all levels. Abacus helps my son realise numbers and use them effectively because of the patterns it introduces and he has now got a solid grasp of number bonds. My son is making sound progress with gaining the discipline Homac brings and the experience has him more confident and focused in a short space of time. I can not wait to see them both progress on the course. They started at Reception level and 3 months laterthey are Level 1. Abacus training works alongside the school effectively and is not confusing to the children in fact it is more effective. Like many children he seemed adverse to homework. This has changed and he now gets on with his work. This is accredited to the discipline Homac brings; and is a credit to his tutors. Coming here was the greatest experience of my life, even though for the first couple of days. I got scared, since I wasn’t used to the place. But then I adapted to it. Seeking through my current life, I really improved, reflecting back to the previous year, When i just average at my session of math at school, but going to HOMAC amended my learning advancing to difficult math’s, a 9 yeas old (may be) never encountered before, otherwise called underestimating , I actually, surprisingly did some tricky math problems I never encountered before, thanks do them i can do sums quicker than ever! ( for e.x: 345-678+123+786-456,0.000879 divide by 0.098 ) Although i have my tutors for few years i will be continue using the knowledge for the rest of my life. I will continue learning and go fourth to the future chapters of life. If i will encounter challenges in the future that may challenge my abilities with mathematics or numeracy, I will still use the system of what i have acquired from HOMAC that i know will make my life easier. All i want say thank you for helping me in education, and for enhancing my knowledge to reach my potential. Further more i would like to show my gratitude to my HOMAC teachers who potentially taught me and other fellow students, and that they put show much effort for me to learn, rather different way of teaching us to learn efficiently of acquiring knowledge. Now realizing that this just a portion of my life that i would carry on while I’m growing up. Attending here was the best experience of life. I loved going to HOMAC sessions. I am glad I met lots of people that helped me developed personally. I will miss HOMAC from whole universe and back. I believe that HOMAC will continue to keep their amazing efforts for other children to learn and discover their potentials that will help them succeed their aspirations as well as for my life. We are very grateful to Mrs Menaka and Mr.Kumar for their exceptional and original way of teaching. My son, Ayan, just in 7 months of studying with Mrs Menaka, successfully passed the exam and he got a place at Latymer School. Ayan is telling his friends that Mrs Manaka’s way of teaching is perfect and he will repeat this experience any time. My daughter was an Abacus student .Learning Abacus way of Maths helped her a lot improving the mathematical skills. Through this programme she has developed somuch confidence in mathematics and which contributed towards her 11plus exams. It has been such a positive experience that now my son is on the Abacus tutoring. The Tutors are extremely committed, with great enthusiasm and hold high professionalism.
